No Man’s Sky 7.05 Is Live on Steam With a Space Station Reset Option
The patch clears Beacon and derelict-freighter progression blockers, adjusts alliance scoring, and adds a memory optimization for PS5.

No Man’s Sky 7.05 is live on Steam, fixing a Beacon milestone blocker and adding a way to reset a claimed space station base. Hello Games announced the patch on September 30 and said it will reach other platforms as soon as possible in its Cosmos 7.05 notes.
Following Cosmos 7.04’s expedition and station fixes, version 7.05 tackles more progression problems. Manually upgrading a building at its control terminal no longer blocks the Beacon milestone, and settlement building upgrades take less time. The patch also fixes issues that could prevent players from completing derelict freighters, including during expedition milestones.
Alliance scoring now reduces the advantage of a small group of members gathering many stations. Hello Games says further server-side balancing changes will continue. Corvette fixes include an external hatch control button, missing decorative parts in the shop, and problems with powered objects after construction.
Space station owners can now reset a station base to free its parts for editing other bases, and more exterior decorations can be recolored. On PS5, the patch adds a memory optimization. Switch 1 and Switch 2 players can turn off vignettes and scanlines again, while PSVR1 and PSVR2 receive fixes for rendering errors on refraction effects, ship decals, and underwater scenes.
