S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Patch 2.0.6 is available to download, bringing a focused stability pass for players affected by AMD GPU-related crashes. GSC Game World outlined the update in its Steam announcement.

The update backports several fixes for crashes tied to AMD GPUs and addresses several other high-priority crashes. Its narrow scope keeps the focus on stability rather than new content or gameplay changes.

Patch 2.0.6 follows Patch 2.0.5, which brought more than 200 fixes across missions, NPC behavior, visuals, anomalies, performance, and other systems.

Discounted upgrades to the Deluxe and Ultimate editions began on Steam on September 18, 2026. Both editions are available at 30% off through September 30, 2026.

GSC Game World also warns that mods may cause performance or stability problems after the update. Players who run into trouble should disable their mods first, then visit the Technical Support Center for troubleshooting and assistance. The same center accepts reports about unexpected anomalies that should not appear in the game.
