World of Warcraft: Forever Tabards Appear in Retail Without a Way for Bundle Buyers to Claim Them
The Shendorei Tabard and Lordaeron Forever entries are visible in the client, but the purchase currently does not grant either cosmetic.
World of Warcraft: Forever tabards are visible in the live retail client, but players who ordered the bundle currently have no way to claim them. The situation leaves an awkward question for Blizzard’s new release. Were the cosmetics added ahead of schedule, or did the bundle simply fail to grant its rewards? On September 14, Blizzard’s package details listed a Warcraft Forever Collection code covering the Skyborne Epic Pack, Warcraft III: Reforged, Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom, and other digital rewards.
The affected items are the Shendorei Tabard and Lordaeron Forever. The latter appears as a cosmetic tabard in the Dressing Room, with its wardrobe entry already present alongside other Forever-related items. Its presence suggests the assets are available in the retail game, even though ownership of the bundle does not currently unlock them.
For buyers, the distinction is mostly academic. Whether the tabards arrived by mistake or were intentionally placed in the live client, they are already visible while remaining out of reach for the people who expected the bundle to provide them. A reward grant issue would need a separate fix from an accidental early addition, but the result is the same for now.
The forever Tabards are in live retail, but unobtainable for people who ordered the bundle. Accident not giving it out, or Oversight adding it by accident?
