Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Trailer Arrives for Tokyo Games Show
The trailer arrives ahead of Campaign Early Access on October 16 and the full game's October 23 launch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 now has a Tokyo Games Show campaign trailer, putting the upcoming story back in focus before the shooter’s October release. Xbox Wire’s announcement was published on September 17, 2026. The campaign has been framed around North Korea’s invasion of the Korean Peninsula and Captain Price operating outside the system, details collected in the campaign intel roundup.
Infinity Ward’s shooter will launch on October 23, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC through Battle.net, Xbox on PC, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. Campaign Early Access will begin on October 16 for digital pre-orders.
The new trailer follows the beta’s playable Entrenched campaign mission, which gave players an early look at the game’s larger conflict. The story moves between North Korea, South Korea, and Captain Price’s rogue unit while combining large-scale war missions with more focused tactical operations.
