PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Banned 58,885 Accounts During Its August 24-30 Review

Cheating accounted for 47,529 bans, while the notice also recorded 25,539 banned devices and 54,869 affected accounts.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS banned 58,885 accounts during its investigation period from August 24 through August 30, 2026. Cheating made up the overwhelming majority of the enforcement action, with 47,529 accounts removed for that violation.

The September 2 weekly bans notice also recorded 25,539 banned devices and 54,869 affected accounts. Those figures are separate enforcement measures and are not included in the account-ban total.

The August 24-30 ban breakdown

  • Cheating accounted for 47,529 bans.
  • Team killing accounted for 5,027 bans.
  • Abusing accounted for 3,975 bans.
  • Teaming accounted for 2,354 bans.

The latest total was 7,821 higher than the 51,064 accounts banned during the August 17-23 review. It continues a week-to-week pattern in which the number of bans has varied sharply across the recent investigations.

Permanently banned accounts appear in a full permanent-ban list. PUBG masks the first 3 characters of each in-game nickname with asterisks in the document.

Players who encounter illegal software or other misconduct should use the in-game reporting tools first. PUBG also recommends Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator for account security.
