PUBG Update 43.2 Will Add Custom Match Tools and New Console Controls

PC maintenance is scheduled for October 14 and console maintenance for October 22, with both windows subject to change.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 43.2 is scheduled to begin with PC maintenance on October 14, 2026, from 00:00 to 08:30 UTC. Console maintenance follows on October 22, from 01:00 to 09:00 UTC. Both windows may change, according to PUBG’s Update 43.2 patch notes.

The update brings a broad set of changes, including new console controller presets, expanded Custom Match options, and clearer teammate communication. Vehicle spawns will also be aligned between Normal and Ranked matches on six maps, while Erangel’s damaged terrain will be easier to distinguish from intact ground.

Custom Match hosts get several practical tools, from random team assignment and observer slots to settings for ending a match early. Creators working in PUBG: Playgrounds also gain object-editing features, including undo and redo, grouping, and more control over team sizes.

Update 43.2 also teases SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo and a PUBG x BENTLEY collaboration. The Rondo event calls for players to power generators and survive the night, while PUBG says more information about the Bentley collaboration will come in a separate announcement.
