S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Modders Can Build Custom Quests With Zone Kit Phase 2
The expanded modding tool also adds visual scripting, custom audio controls, in-game text editing, and direct editor testing.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl modders now have a much larger toolbox to work with. The Zone Kit has moved from Phase 1 to Phase 2, adding more of the internal development tools used to create the game.
GSC Game World detailed the new features in a Steam announcement and its full Zone Kit Phase 2 showcase. The biggest addition is visual scripting, which lets creators build their own stories and quests inside the tool.
Zone Kit Phase 2 expands story and audio tools
Creators can now write, edit, add, or remove any in-game text. That opens the door to custom narrative content, from small dialogue changes to entirely new quest writing.
Audio can be changed too. Modders can customize, delete, or add sounds and sound effects, including dialogue voiceovers. Zone Kit Phase 2 also supports saving and loading mod data, giving creators a way to manage the work they make.
Testing is handled inside the editor through Play In Editor. Mods can be tested directly in Zone Kit Editor, including mods based on .cfg files, so creators do not have to leave the tool to check their work.
The Phase 2 trailer offers a look at the expanded feature set.
