SCUM Announces Hotfix 1.3.3.1.145413 for Crashes and Apex Hunt Bugs

The announced changes add a crash reporter, automate server crash reports, and address Apex Mutant Bear behavior inside TEC1 facilities.

SCUM‘s announced Hotfix 1.3.3.1.145413 focuses on problems tied to the August update, including crashes, broken Apex Hunt progress, faulty TEC1 Research Facility hazards, and several server and sandbox issues.

The hotfix follows the August 24 update, which added TEC1 Research Facilities and mutant bears to the Island. Gamepires detailed the changes in its Steam announcement.

Among the player-facing changes are a new crash reporter and automatic submission for server crash reports. The notes also cover Apex Mutant Bear pathing and aggro behavior, quest progress after server restarts, recipes, foundations, item returns, visual glitches, and Sandbox Mode DLC access.

Two problems remain active. Some players cannot access Twitch Drops they earned previously, although the fix is expected to happen on the backend without another game download. Some servers may also be missing from the in-game browser, with manual IP entry still available as a workaround.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Twitch Drops: We’re aware that some players are currently unable to access previously earned Twitch Drops. This is a backend issue, so the fix will not require another hotfix or game download. We’ll let you know as soon as access has been restored.
  • Server Browser: Some servers may not appear when browsing or searching for them in-game. Affected servers can still be joined by manually entering their IP address. We’re working on a fix and will let you know once the issue has been resolved.
