Darktide Hotfix 1.12.5 Is Rolling Out With Crash and Cosmetic Fixes

The update fixes Zealot and Veteran crash cases, restores Steam Friend invitations, and cleans up several weapons and cosmetics.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Hotfix 1.12.5 is now rolling out across all platforms. The focused patch addresses several crash cases, fixes an ability charge issue, restores Steam Friend invitations, and cleans up a collection of weapon and character cosmetic problems, according to the official Steam announcement.

Zealot players should no longer trigger a crash by disconnecting while using Fury of the Faithful. Veteran players also get a fix for a crash that could occur when hotjoining with the Leave No One Behind talent equipped. Another rare crash involving a Servo Skull reviving an ally has been addressed as well.

The hotfix also makes sure Chordclaw consumes charges when its ability is used. Steam Overlay invitations to a Strike Team are working again, and newly created characters can once more opt out of the campaign.

Several visual issues round out the patch, including clipping around hair and headgear, incorrect uniform colors, a broken ammo meter and reload on the Resplendent Fury Laspistol, and offset powered visual effects on the Pyre Blade. One Harsh Environment Flak Helmet name was also changed to avoid a duplicate entry.

Fixed Chordclaw ability being able to be used without consuming charges.
Fixed a crash occurring when Veteran hotjoins a game with Leave No One Behind talent.
Fixed a rare crash occurring when the Servo Skull is reviving an ally but the player being revived dies.
Inviting your Steam Friends from the Steam Overlay into your Strike Team now works again.
Fixed an issue where newly created characters could not opt out of the campaign.

Fixed visible hole on Cadia’s teeth Chainsword.
Fixed ammo meter and broken reload on Resplendent Fury Laspistol.
Fixed hair clipping into headgears.
Fixed Hair clipping with Scryer’s Eyewrap with Psykana Collar.
Fixed wrong colors being displayed on Pistolero’s Duty Uniform & Gun-Hand’s Duty Uniform.
Harsh Environment Flak Helmet with Psykana Collar (Montar Camo) with orange emissive light renamed to MkIII Harsh Environment Flak Helmet with Psykana Collar (Montar Camo) to avoid name duplication.
Fixed issue with powered VFX being offset on Pyre Blade.
