Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3 Will Rework Dokkaebi, Kali, and Several Weapons
The upcoming balance pass will tie Dokkaebi's Jegeo Payload to a constant connection, cut SMG-12 damage, and adjust DMR recoil.

Ubisoft’s next Rainbow Six Siege balance pass will make Dokkaebi’s Jegeo Payload easier to interrupt, give Kali smoother access to her V-Lance, and reduce the SMG-12’s damage and ammunition. The planned Y11S3 changes are detailed in Ubisoft’s Y11S3 Designer’s Notes, which also covers DMR adjustments and smaller operator, weapon, and gadget refinements.
These changes are still upcoming. Ubisoft did not provide a date for the balance pass to go live in the notes.
Y11S2.3 data sets the balance context
The accompanying charts use Ranked data from players at Platinum and above during Y11S2.3, separated across PC and console matches. The win-delta graphics compare operator results with presence, while the ban-rate charts show which attackers and defenders were removed most often.

Ace had the highest attacker ban rate in both data sets, at 48% on PC and 63% on console. Mira led defender bans at 89% on both PC and console. The Y11S3 pass responds with changes that affect popular operators as well as weapons that can apply heavy pressure in the right hands.

Planned operator and weapon changes
Dokkaebi’s Jegeo Payload will require a continuous connection between her tablet and the target’s phone. If defenders interrupt that connection, the upload will stop. The tablet will also remain active and detectable throughout the process, giving defenders more ways to respond with tools such as Signal Disruptors or Solis’ SPEC-IO. EMP Impact Grenades are being replaced with Breach Charges, removing the possibility of Dokkaebi accidentally disrupting her own connection.
Kali’s V-Lance will no longer cancel ADS when she switches to or from the gadget. Her CSRX 300 will also receive shorter scope magnifications, a faster pump cycle, and more ammunition. Those improvements come with increased recoil and wider hip-fire spread, keeping close-range fights and follow-up shots more demanding.
The SMG-12 is receiving a sharp reduction in damage, magazine size, and total ammunition. Dokkaebi, Vigil, and Warden will need to rely more on controlled bursts instead of sustained fire. The AR-15.50 and MK14 EBR are also losing their Muzzle Brake on selected operators, with both rifles receiving lower damage and increased first-shot recoil.
The smaller refinements affect Lion, Kapkan, Echo, the SPSMG9, and Claymores. Lion’s EE-ONE-D warning window will shrink, Kapkan’s traps will deal more damage, Echo’s Sonic Burst refill will arrive sooner, and the SPSMG9 and Claymore will receive damage increases.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3 Patch Notes
The biggest changes target Dokkaebi’s ability flow, Kali’s weapon handling, SMG-12 sustained fire, and the AR-15.50 and MK14 EBR. The remaining adjustments focus on cooldowns, trap damage, and weapon consistency.
