Forza Horizon 6’s Horizon Mascot Party Update Will Bring Three New Cars

The series will also add ASL and BSL cinematic support, a temporary Edamame Time Attack Circuit, mascot-themed EventLab props, and fixes for garages, accessibility, gameplay, and vehicles.

Forza Horizon 6 will celebrate its tiny, colorful mascots with the Horizon Mascot Party update. The update is scheduled to be available for download on Monday, August 10, at 5:00 p.m. UTC, followed by the Festival Playlist series on Thursday, August 13, at 2:30 p.m. UTC, according to the official Steam announcement.

Steam’s Series 4 changelog lists version 1.419.635.0. The bug-fix package is dated August 10, while the new Festival Playlist content begins August 13; the full details are available in the Series 4 release notes.

Three cars will make their Horizon debuts during the celebration: the 1970 Honda N600, 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5. Players will also get a temporary mascot-themed circuit, new EventLab decorations, three Car Horns, and expanded cinematic accessibility options.

ASL and BSL support joins the accessibility menu

The update will add American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters to cinematic scenes. The interpreter will appear in a picture-in-picture window, with options to change its screen position and adjust the background color.

A mascot-themed Time Attack Circuit is coming to Horizon Japan

The temporary Evolving World Edamame Time Attack Circuit will be available during the Horizon Mascot Party series. It will challenge drivers to set their best lap times, with in-world leaderboards showing each player’s result at their current PI level, the next rival to beat, and the global top three.

Time Attack Circuits also include Convoy Leaderboards, so friends can compare their current best laps in real time. The Edamame circuit’s leaderboard will reset when the next season begins.

EventLab gets a mascot makeover

Creators will be able to use mascot decorations in EventLab events, Customizable Garages, and Estates. The new catalog additions include:

28 Signs & Flags props: nine Mascot Flags, nine Mascot Billboards, nine Mascot Cutouts, and one Inflatable Curry Rice Mascot.
9 Walls & Fences props: nine Mascot Barrier variations.
4 Road & Racing props: four Pit Garage variations.
3 Vehicles props: Bike, Covered Scooter, and Sports Motorbike.
2 Garage props: Plastic Crate and Plastic Container.
1 Rural prop: Plant Box 1.

Seasonal summer versions of some props will also join the catalog. Players looking to complete the party setup can chase the new Mascot, Fus-Roh-Dah, and Pinball Machine Car Horns, along with the Mascot Badge and Shimanoyama Heat Badge. The limited-time series also includes the Shimanoyama Heat Collectible, a Dango Outfit, and two player badges: Party Time and Hot Lap.

Ten Festival Playlist cars are up for grabs

The Horizon Mascot Party series will feature 10 Series Reward cars. Three are new to the franchise, while the remaining rewards give newer players a chance to collect cars that appeared in earlier events.

1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster: 40 points during Summer, from August 13 through August 20.
2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: 20 points during Autumn, from August 20 through August 27.
2016 Abarth 695 Biposto: 40 points during Autumn, from August 20 through August 27.
1974 Toyota Celica GT: 20 points during Winter, from August 27 through September 3.
1989 Toyota MR2 SC: 40 points during Winter, from August 27 through September 3.
1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R: 20 points during Spring, from September 3 through September 10.
1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock: 40 points during Spring, from September 3 through September 10.

The reward schedule covers four seasons, giving drivers several weeks to work through the playlist. A new Forza.net Festival Playlist hub will also archive current and previous events, challenges, and rewards.

Four more cars are planned for Car Pass

Car Pass owners will receive one additional car each Thursday during the series. The upcoming lineup includes the 1968 Alfa Romeo Autodelta Tipo 33/2 Daytona on August 13, the 1957 Ford Thunderbird on August 20, the 1983 Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS on August 27, and the 1987 Porsche #203 Porsche AG 961 on September 3. These cars are included with the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass, Deluxe, Premium, and Premium Upgrade Editions.

Series 4 patch notes fix garages, accessibility, and vehicles

Alongside the new content, version 1.419.635.0 brings performance and stability improvements, plus fixes across several parts of the game.

General and accessibility fixes

Fixed an issue where the Evolving World timer counted down to the end of the season instead of the end of the series.
Fixed a Garage Full message appearing after players received a new Car Pass car.
Fixed an issue that prevented players from removing cars when their Garage was full.
Fixed Screen Reader issues on the What’s Next? screen, when redeeming a Wheelspin, and after completing the ANNA Tutorial.

Car, Creative Hub, and gameplay fixes

Fixed an issue where kerbs could bring the 1972 Nissan Patrol and 2022 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica to a dead stop.
Fixed an incorrect power-to-weight ratio calculation and added new stock exhaust audio for the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
Fixed a bug that allowed players to buy a car from a Car Meet and unlock its livery.
Fixed missing custom-livery thumbnails and added an option to delete locally saved EventLab events.
Fixed a progression issue in Chapter 6 of the Moto Auto Zine Stories: Shibuya Showstopper, which could not be completed without the Yellow Wristband.

Visual fixes

Fixed missing or slow-loading wheel rims on the Aftermarket 1990 Subaru Legacy RS.
Fixed strange dents that could appear when painting the 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta.
Fixed rain appearing inside the car in Cockpit or Dashboard view for the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla, 2024 Ram 1500 TRX, 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupé, 1970 GMC Jimmy, and 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM Edition.
