Forza Horizon 6 is already leaving the series’ Steam peak behind
SteamDB shows the racer hit 172,093 concurrent players in early access, more than twice Forza Horizon 5's 81,096 peak.

Forza Horizon 6 is already posting a bigger Steam peak than any previous game in the series, and it is doing that before the full launch even arrives.
The racer will not fully launch until May 19, 2026, but the players in right now are limited to people who bought the $120 edition for early access or used a Game Pass upgrade. That has already been enough to push the game far beyond the franchise’s old high-water mark.
GamesRadar+ spotted the latest chart data on SteamDB, where Forza Horizon 6 reached an all-time peak of 172,093 concurrent players. Forza Horizon 5 topped out at 81,096, which means the new entry has more than doubled that number. Forza Horizon 4 reached 75,689, while Forza Motorsport peaked at 4,703.
Japan has clearly helped draw attention to the new release, and the early-access crowd is already giving the series a new benchmark before the wider launch window opens.
