Hunt: Showdown 1896’s Fog of War Event Has Ended in the Bayou
The Bayou's weather has returned to normal after the low-visibility period tied to Desolation's Delegate.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 has ended its Fog of War weather event. The fog has cleared, and the Bayou’s weather has returned to its usual unpredictable pattern, according to an official announcement published on August 10.
The change brings the low-visibility period connected to Desolation’s Delegate to a close. The character thanked Hunters for their assistance and for making use of the opportunities created by the fog before sending them back into the Bayou’s normal conditions.
During the event, more frequent fog and other visibility problems were paired with a 100% Hunt Dollar bonus for Missions, giving successful extractions a much larger payout. Our coverage of how foggy missions began detailed that tradeoff between reduced visibility and increased rewards.
With Fog of War over, Hunters will once again face the Bayou without the event’s extra weather pressure or boosted Hunt Dollar earnings.
