PEAK marked its first anniversary with a thank-you note to players and a tease about the road ahead.
Landfall and Aggro Crab said the game grew from a one-month jam into a release that has reached millions of players and earned a The Game Awards nomination. The teams called the response life-changing and said the support has meant a lot to both studios.
The biggest update tease in the anniversary post was the final biome. The teams said it is still in development, will swap in for Caldera and the Kiln, and should arrive later in 2026 once it has a bit more work behind it.
They also showed off a small preview of luggage that will show up with the next update, which keeps the focus on where PEAK is headed after a very busy first year.
