PEAK now has an ESRB rating for PlayStation 5, a concrete sign of progress for the co-op climbing game’s console port. The ESRB listing assigns it an E10+ rating and names Skybound Games as publisher. It points to a PS5 version, but is not a formal release announcement and gives no launch date.
The rating summary describes a first-person co-op climb on a mysterious island, where players collect tools and help one another survive. It mentions spiders that bind characters, zombies that grab and slam them, and a hunger mechanic that lets players eat other characters, shown with cartoon skeleton effects. The listing also notes Fantasy Violence and Users Interact.
Players can tackle PEAK alone or in groups of up to four. The mountain layout changes every 24 hours, giving each day a new route instead of one players can simply memorize. By October 13, 2026, the game had sold more than 10 million copies since its June 2025 launch and accumulated 146,500 Steam reviews marked “Overwhelmingly Positive.”
Console versions were already part of the plan. In August, the developers said they could focus more on ports after the final biome update. September’s Patch 2.04.a added room codes as preparation for cross-platform play once the ports arrive.
