Riot Games‘ Valorant 11.07b update has arrived, adding new Agent Veto and a quick-fire Custom Game mode called Skirmish. Expect Veto to be playable across most playlists, though a bug has kept the new Sentinel out of Team Deathmatch for now. Summer 2025 has been busy for Valorant. Riot Games’ five-on-five shooter recently switched over to Unreal Engine 5, expanded its map pool, and introduced fresh Agents to the roster. Champs Paris also served as the stage for the reveal of a new Agent, Veto, a Senegalese Sentinel whose abilities can block and nullify other utilities.
Veto joins the Valorant Agent pool, but not in TDM
Veto is now live in Valorant with patch 11.07b and can be tried in Skirmish, Spike Rush, and normal play. A bug, however, prevents Veto from appearing in Team Deathmatch. Riot said, “Veto is currently disabled in TDM due to a bug. He will be re-enabled in TDM in patch 11.08.” Skirmish has been added to Custom Game lobbies as a fast-paced mode for close-quarters fights. Matches support 1v1 through 5v5, smaller maps, and quick rounds where the first to 10 wins.

AGENT UPDATES
- VETO IS HERE. Empowered by an unstoppable DNA mutation, Senegalese enforcer Veto defies the rules of engagement by nullifying his opponent’s powers and technology. On Veto’s battlefield, gunplay is your only guarantee.
Abilities:
Chokehold
- EQUIP a viscous fragment of your mutation. FIRE to throw. The fragment deploys upon impact, creating a trap to hold enemies in place. Held enemies are Deafened and Decayed. Enemies can destroy the trap before activation.
Crosscut
- EQUIP a vortex. FIRE to place on the ground. While in range and looking at the vortex, REACTIVATE to teleport to the vortex. During the BUY PHASE, the vortex can be reclaimed to be REDEPLOYED.
Interceptor
- EQUIP the Interceptor. FIRE to place the Interceptor at projected location. Once placed, RE-USE to activate. Once active, it will destroy any utility that would BOUNCE off a player and/or be destroyed naturally by gunfire. Enemies can destroy the Interceptor.
Evolution
- INSTANTLY begin to fully mutate, gaining a combat stim, regeneration, and becoming IMMUNE to all forms of debuffs.
Note: Veto is currently disabled in TDM due to a bug. He will be re-enabled in TDM in patch 11.08
