Lawbreakers, the game that was supposed to do a lot better in every aspect, has somehow managed to be terminated. After the announcement of its project discontinuation, Boss Key Productions has already announced and released something new within the same genre. A new Battle Royale game called Radical Heights.
If you firmly remember, Boss Key Productions has somewhat blamed PUBG corp for Lawbreakers shutdown, quote:
We had very high expectations for LawBreakers launch. However, its release time proved to be unfortunate, especially since the blockbuster PC online game PUBG released roughly at the same time, which is why the market environment for Lawbreakers but also for first-person shooters, in general, became dull.
However, Boss Key Productions, judging from its new project Radical Heights, has somehow managed to recover and release an “X-TREME Early Access game.” The game is already available on Steam, and judging from the very first trailer it inevitably reminds more on Fortnite than PUBG.
After the bitter judgment day, we genuinely believe that the graphics and setup are similar Fortnite, which lately appears to be more successful than PUBG. Kids are going to love it! Is this what most of the game developers aim for? However, let’s leave this behind since it will take years to make a rough conclusion.
Radical Heights has also received the very first game description:
Welcome to RADICAL HEIGHTS, a free *X-TREME Early Access* BATTLE ROYALE shooter. Partake in high-stakes battle royale gunplay in a sunny SoCal dome as contestants drive-by on BMX bikes or stalk other contestants from the shadows in search for weapons and prizes…but also CASH that you can bank – win or lose! Whether you spend that cash on righteous customization in your personal prize room or pull it from an ATM to purchase weapons early in the next game — building a wealth of cash is as important as taking down the competition in this irreverent 80s-themed action game show where everyone wants to be rich and famous!
Radical Heights has also received a reveal trailer and will become available to play tomorrow.
