Deadlock Bot Farms Are Building Accounts for Ranked Play
Deadlock's new 35-point hero unlock counts losses as well as wins, and an account says farms are active in both ranked and unranked matches.

Deadlock’s Ranked Beta Season 2 began Nov. 5, and bot farms are already building accounts for ranked play. The @deadlock_8 account says operators are running bot accounts in both ranked and unranked matches, then selling the profiles or using them in ranked.
Bot farms have been detected in Deadlock, both in ranked mode and in unranked mode.
These accounts are created and play the required number of matches to unlock ranked mode, after which they are either sold or used in ranked mode.

Valve’s 35-point hero-unlock system awards 2 points for a win and 1 for a loss, replacing the previous requirement to win 15 Standard matches with each selected hero. Under the earlier rules, players also needed 60 Standard wins overall and at least 3 eligible heroes before they could queue for Ranked.
Losses now move an account toward hero eligibility, so bot operators do not need to win every prerequisite match. The reported activity in unranked matches also puts the account grind outside the ranked queue, before profiles enter Ranked or are sold for someone else to use.
