Xbox’s Oct. 12-16 Release Schedule Includes Castlevania and Planet Zoo 2

Game Pass additions include Deep Dish Dungeon, Valor Mortis, Bluey's Happy Snaps, Chained Beasts, and Beyond These Stars.

Xbox’s Oct. 12-16 release schedule covers 40 games, with Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Planet Zoo 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 among the week’s larger releases. The Xbox Wire schedule notes that dates may change.

Oct. 12

  • Alpha Nomos (Xbox Play Anywhere) is a rhythm-action roguelite where Cello fights rogue puppets with instruments as weapons, timing attacks to the music.
  • Colorbound (Xbox Play Anywhere) is now available on Xbox Series X|S. Anku travels with his grandmother to reunite the band of his late grandfather, Eloy, using colors to solve puzzles and reshape the world. Some colors make painted objects float, while heavier ones send them down, turning the scenery into part of each challenge. Anku also collects a panpipe called la zampoña, an instrument associated with Andean folk music that links the journey to his grandfather’s music. The game draws on Panpipe Studio’s Chilean heritage and Aymara culture of the Andes, which developer Isaías Arrué wanted to celebrate. Its watercolor-inspired pastel palette is meant to evoke cozy nostalgia. The concept began at the 2025 Latin American Games Showcase Game Jam as an exploration of light and shadow. Colorbound’s Aymara roots and development give the puzzle-platformer a cultural thread alongside its family story.
