Xbox’s November Indie Selects bring six games together, from a survival-horror detective’s photo-marked map to a medieval town where zombies can become farmhands. The November collection announcement also confirms that the program will have its first December edition in December 2026.
The Indie Select Hub refreshes every Wednesday, with four themed spotlights rotating weekly.
Horror and undead management take different paths
Silver Pines puts players in the role of a detective exploring an interconnected world presented through 2D scenes. The in-game camera lets players photograph blocked doors and unsolved clues, pinning those reminders to the map for later. The survival-horror game supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Graveyard Keeper 2 brings its zombie-management premise to a town overrun by the undead, who can be put to work in farming and production. The sequel was already introduced earlier this year with its zombie-town setup. Xbox’s November spotlight also points to crafting, building, gathering, farming, and progression through a tech tree.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 delivers retro-styled first-person action. Its branching campaign features returning Ultramarine Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath, who bring different weapons and playstyles. The game is priced at $24.99.
Music, color, and cinematic horror round out the picks
Colorbound follows Anku, a boy searching for the members of his late grandfather’s scattered band so they can reunite for a tribute performance. Anku uses a palette to alter the world, with lighter colors making painted objects float and heavier ones making them drop. It supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Ratatan combines rhythm-based commands with side-scrolling combat and roguelike role-playing. Players control the hero while directing an army to the beat, and the game supports Xbox Play Anywhere. Its listed price is $34.99.
Tenebris Somnia mixes 2D adventure and survival horror, following indie filmmaker Julia as she checks on her missing ex-boyfriend and encounters monsters in an alternate dimension. Live-action cutscenes add a cinematic layer to the horror. It supports Xbox Play Anywhere and is priced at $24.99.
