War Thunder Update 2.57.1.43 Reworks Nuclear Escalation Queues
The latest update fixes aircraft and vehicle bugs while raising the Scimitar Mk.2's Battle Rating to 8.3.

War Thunder Update 2.57.1.43 addresses a short list of aircraft, ground vehicle, and naval issues. It also changes several matchmaking presets in Nuclear Escalation and raises the Scimitar Mk.2’s Battle Rating from 8.0 to 8.3 across all game modes.
Gaijin Entertainment published the notes in an official Steam announcement. The update’s fixes include missing countermeasures on the MiG-29SMT, incorrect optics behavior on the Scimitar Mk.2, and a Project 956 problem that could prevent the ship from responding to aircraft.
War Thunder Update 2.57.1.43 Patch Notes
The biggest gameplay-facing change affects Nuclear Escalation’s early-era queues. New nation presets let Great Britain, Sweden, and France fight on the same team as the USSR and China in the 10.3–12.7 Battle Rating range. An additional 11.7–12.7 preset places the USA and Germany against all other nations.
The Scimitar Mk.2 also receives a Battle Rating increase, alongside corrections for its muzzle flash and gunner optics. Aircraft fixes cover the IAR-81C (DB 605) and the nuclear-capable MiG-29SMT (9-19).
