War Thunder Update 2.57.0.27 fixes radar, parachutes, and a few stubborn vehicle bugs

The patch also nudged the IA.58A Pucará camera, changed the J-22M1A's chute behavior, and moved the Kör Asz decal to the Hungary - Aircraft section.

War Thunder Update 2.57.0.27 is a smaller cleanup patch, but it still touches a wide spread of systems. Aircraft get most of the attention here, with a handful of ground, interface, graphics, and decal fixes rounding out the list.

Patch Notes

The update focuses on bug fixes and a few quality-of-life adjustments, including a camera change for one aircraft and a set of tweaks for the J-22M1A.

  • A bug where the brake parachute would not deploy when landing at airfields has been fixed. (Report).

  • F-4EJ Kai — a bug where the cockpit radar display appeared smaller than the screen has been fixed, the indication has been replaced with the one from F-16. (Report).

  • F4U-4 — a bug where the rightmost pylon for the 100 lb bomb was not displayed has been fixed. (Report).

  • IA.58A Pucará — the third-person camera has been moved higher to improve visibility.

  • J-22M1A — the brake chute deployment speed has been increased from 220 km/h to 320 km/h. (Report). The takeoff flaps position has been added. The automatic flaps control functionality has been removed. The landing gear deployment time has been increased from 5 seconds to 7.4 seconds. Source: VTUP Upravljanje avionom IJ-22 (Orao).

  • NOMADS — a bug where turning in place did not work correctly has been fixed. (Report).

  • A bug that caused the progress of a construction of a new ammo box to infinitely display on the screen if the existing ammo box was fully depleted during the construction of a new one has been fixed.

  • A bug that caused the texture quality to be always set to high regardless of the quality set in the settings has been fixed. (Report).

  • The “Kör Asz” emblem decal has been moved to the Hungary – Aircraft section.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
