War Thunder’s 238th Screenshot Contest Is Open for Moving Vehicle Shots

Entries must use #WTscreen238 as the only text in the title, and six winners will each receive 300 Golden Eagles.

War Thunder has opened its 238th Steam Screenshot Competition, giving players until August 28, 2026, to capture a vehicle in motion. Tanks racing across a battlefield, aircraft locked in a dogfight, and ships cutting through the water are all fair game for this round.

Gaijin Entertainment announced the competition in a Steam announcement. Six winners will be chosen after the deadline: three through community ratings and three by Gaijin’s judges. Each winning entry will earn 300 Golden Eagles.

How to enter the 238th competition

Upload a new screenshot to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub and use #WTscreen238 as the complete title. No other text can appear in the title. The competition’s submission page provides the entry route.

Every image must show a vehicle in motion and be the entrant’s own work. It also needs to be new, meaning screenshots previously published or used in another competition are not eligible. Entries must follow War Thunder’s rules, and only raw screenshots captured from the game will be accepted.

Outside editing software and visual enhancements such as Nvidia Ansel filters are not allowed. Players can still use War Thunder’s built-in filters, settings, and replay functionality to set up the shot. A participant may win through popular vote only once per four screenshot competitions, and rewards will be delivered to each winner’s account within 14 working days.

The six Blue Frontiers winners

The previous Blue Frontiers round has concluded, with its three community-voted winners and three judge-selected winners now announced.
