skate. Update 0.32.2 is now live on all platforms, bringing the latest Season 5 build to players while Full Circle highlights the game’s PS5 Pro features and upcoming mid-season schedule. Full Circle’s 0.32.2 patch notes detailed fixes for Quick Drop Objects, spectator loading, S.U.M.R. Camp fast travel, and Spotlight Challenge rewards, while also documenting the temporary removal of traffic and pedestrians on PS4 and Xbox One.
Patch notes for Update 0.32.2 went live on Sept. 28 through EA’s patch notes, followed by the update’s release on Sept. 29. The patch had been scheduled for Sept. 29, and the latest Weekly Grind announcement confirms that it is now available.
Week 4 of Season 5 is underway, with new Weekly Bounties available alongside the update. Full Circle is also preparing a mid-season blog for Update 0.32.5 and plans to reveal the season’s mid-season event within the next few weeks.
PS5 Pro support includes 120fps options
Full Circle used the latest post to remind players that skate. received PS5 Pro Enhanced Certification with Update 0.32.0. The certification covers several visual and performance options specifically for PS5 Pro owners.
- Players can switch between 60fps and 120fps.
- Resolution is increased.
- Ray tracing and global illumination quality are improved.
- Shadow and texture quality are improved.
- Motion blur is improved.
- The game automatically detects 120Hz TVs and selects that frame rate.
Those features apply specifically to PS5 Pro, rather than the standard PS5 model.
Update 0.32.5 is scheduled for October
The next major date on the calendar is the mid-season blog on Oct. 8, followed by Update 0.32.5 patch notes on Oct. 12 and the update itself on Oct. 13. Full Circle also has several Brand Partner Realistic Video Contests planned, beginning with Primitive on Oct. 6 and Welcome on Oct. 13. A Baker contest is scheduled for November.
The Year 1 Drop remains available through Oct. 23, 2026. Players who log in before then can claim the free Year 1 Bundle, which includes the Year 6 deck, the Skate or Die hat, and a black hoodie.
Known issues still under investigation
Full Circle is still tracking problems with tricks, settings, loading, and platform features. MP4 exports can fail, with WebM serving as the workaround on PC. Xbox players can check the Captures setting under Xbox Dashboard, Settings, and Captures, where it should read Captures by Me and Games rather than Captures by Me.
- Tailslides and Noseslides can fail to register when approaching a ledge from its end.
- Wallride detection can make the skater flip unnaturally, while the Smith-to-Tailslide task can fail to register.
- Quick Ollie or Nollie into a No-Foot Grab can cause the legs to clip through the board.
- Some flip trick and landing animations can appear incorrectly in the Replay Editor or snap the skater’s upper body upright.
- Quick Drop can fail to open from the radial menu. Holding
D-Pad Leftis the current workaround. - A Switch or Nollie 360 inward heelflip can rotate the skater when PS5 Power Saver is enabled. Disabling Power Saver avoids the issue.
- Resetting a Session Marker placed at a ledge in a drop-in position can leave the skater off-board and freeze camera tracking.
- A specific circular brick planter can accelerate the skater after a grind or slide.
- A rare crash can occur when selecting San Vansterdam at the Ferry Terminal in S.U.M.R. Camp.
- Xbox One can stutter while players traverse the map, and Gen 4 consoles can leave players stuck on loading screens.
- The skate.Pass shortcut may fail when opening the Bounties menu from the D-Pad.
- Console communication restrictions do not currently affect in-game settings or functionality.
- Field of view values above 90 can cause aggressive texture changes when switching between on-board and off-board movement.
- Block Party UI can fail to appear when spawning inside an active Block Party, while borderless fullscreen mode can use the last resolution selected for fullscreen mode.
