Known Issues Still Being Investigated

The live issue tracker is still broad, touching export problems, black screens, task bugs, shop display issues, and a crash tied to AMD driver 26.6.1.

  • Some players cannot export in MP4 format. On PC, WebM works as a workaround.
  • Rarely, a black screen appears when starting a challenge or throwdown on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rebooting skate. may help.
  • Pinned tasks do not stay pinned after the game reconnects from inactivity.
  • Changing the graphics preset does not update the values shown at the bottom of the Graphics screen.
  • The first step of the Help Wanted mission, Coping Inspector, gets crossed out and does not progress when players arrive at the target area. Rebooting skate. moves the mission to the next step.
  • The option to choose between 16:9 centered HUD and full-width and height UI appears in Windowed mode, but it does not work.
  • After a Co-op Challenge, party members’ names can swap with random names during the celebration screen.
  • Players often cannot climb the scaffolding of M-Corp Tower.
  • The image and price of some bundles fail to display in the Shop.
  • AMD driver 26.6.1 is causing skate. to crash. Rolling back to 26.5.2 and restarting skate. is the workaround.
  • Sometimes players get a black screen when using fast travel, a Session marker, or when starting or finishing challenges.
  • The Footplant to Body Flip transition can cause an immediate bail with Require Grab While Flipping enabled.
  • A Rip Score popup can appear after entering or leaving Stadium or Isle of Grom.
  • Using R3 for Quick Travel also toggles Camera Height.
  • The Level 3 Mastery Task group is mistranslated in Japanese.
  • The Daily and Mastery Task sections sometimes show a blank screen.
  • The Quick Drop radial menu can reset for a moment after joining the server.
  • Trick landing animations can look inconsistent after performing a Boned Ollie.
  • The Flick-It Visualizer disappears after completing a challenge.
  • Tailslides and Noseslides are not detected correctly when approaching a ledge from its end.
  • The game can freeze on the social spectate menu or while spectating.
  • The friends list can show duplicate entries for the same friend or none at all.
  • Wallride detection often makes the skater flip unnaturally.
  • The Smith to Tailslide task often fails to register when it is done correctly.
