Project Zomboid 42.22.2 Fixes a Windows Integrity Check Bug
Players who encounter another bug are asked to reproduce it on a fresh save without mods before reporting it.

Project Zomboid 42.22.2 is available on the Pre-Release branch, correcting a Windows display error that caused integrity checks to show “attached” incorrectly, according to the 42.22.2 Steam announcement.
The previous 42.22.1 hotfix introduced integrity checks for changes to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE), with detected alterations reflected in the version watermark. The new fix addresses how those checks displayed their status on Windows.
The developers say the update should not break saves. If you encounter a bug, they ask you to reproduce it on a fresh save with no mods installed before submitting it through the bug reports forum.
