Hawlucha is waiting at the end of a new Pokémon GO Stamp Rally in Mexico City, and Trainers visiting Sendai • Tohoku have a Lapras rally of their own. Both encounters come with a Location Background for their respective destination, with a chance for the Pokémon to be Shiny.
The ongoing rallies are open to all visiting Trainers from November 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PST, with no planned end date, Pokémon GO announced. They are separate from the ticketed Stamp Rallies taking place during GO Wild Area.
A Mexico City player said the Hawlucha rally appeared at 5 p.m. local time and showed no end date. The player also shared a rally map for Trainers planning a route.

How to collect stamps and claim an encounter
After entering the citywide gameplay area in either destination, approach a participating PokéStop to receive a stamp sheet. A rally button will appear on the map, and participating PokéStops will show an orange stamp icon once the rally has started. Spin their Photo Discs to collect stamps, visiting the stops in any order.
Each stamp displays the PokéStop’s name and date. Holding the press for longer changes the ink density, but a stamp cannot be pressed again once placed. Collect all 8 stamps in Mexico City for a Hawlucha encounter with a Mexico City Location Background, or all 8 in Sendai • Tohoku for a Lapras encounter with a Sendai • Tohoku Location Background.

How the Wild Area rallies differ
The separate GO Wild Area Stamp Rallies in Mexico City and Sendai each have 7 participating locations and run from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time on a Trainer’s main ticketed day. Sendai’s event rally is limited to stops within the city. An Extra Day add-on does not provide another event rally.
Both Wild Area events run from November 6 through November 8, with citywide gameplay scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day.
