We Happy Few will be released at a later date. The developers behind Compulsion Games have confirmed the same as they have published a video regarding the update. It appears that the game won’t appear on the market before summer. We Happy Few is an action adventure set up in a drug-fuelled city in 1960s England.
Furthermore, Compulsion Games have stated that they will refund everyone who has bought the game while it was in early access. Explaining that the story did not the needed criteria, the developers have decided to take a U-turn and give this game another chance at a later date.
Judging by our experience, a rushed game is usually performing much worse than a reasonable delayed game. You have to give all the credits to a team who decides to stop their project before something unpleasant occurs. Therefore, thumbs up on the project and a successful summer release.
