Gray Zone Warfare Hotfix 0.5.0.0 (1) Fixes Server Freezes and Vendor Downgrades
The supporters-preview update also addresses a tutorial lockup, while players vote on a camo weapon every supporter will receive when Rogue Ops launches on October 22.

Gray Zone Warfare Hotfix 0.5.0.0 (1) is now deployed to the supporters-preview branch. MADFINGER Games’ Steam announcement says the update fixes server freezes that caused network errors and prevented players from connecting, along with vendor downgrades and a tutorial interface lockup. Restart Steam if the download does not appear automatically. Supporter Edition owners can carry their Update 0.5 preview progress into the October 22 Rogue Ops release, with the preview’s access and wipe rules explained in the Supporter Preview’s access and wipe rules.
Blurry visuals for some players using NVIDIA GPUs, particularly around vegetation, remain unresolved. MADFINGER Games says it is still working on a fix.
Gray Zone Warfare Hotfix 0.5.0.0 (1) Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue that caused some servers to freeze, resulting in network errors and leaving players unable to connect to a server
- Fixed an issue that caused some players’ vendors to be downgraded to a lower level
- Fixed an issue that caused the UI to become unresponsive when players skipped the prologue with a new character
How the vendor level fix handles lost progress
Players who reached Level 4 before the Supporter Preview for 0.5 will have that level restored. Players who were still working toward Level 4 will keep the same percentage of their reputation progress, even though the total reputation required has increased. For example, someone who had completed 15% of the old requirement will retain 15% of the new one.
Supporters will also receive the camo weapon that wins a community vote when Rogue Ops launches on October 22. The choices are Benelli M4, AUG, G3, Glock 18C, and L403A1.
