Gible Drop Event Launches in Pokémon TCG Pocket

The Pokémon TCG Pocket community is excited as the Gible Drop Event approaches. Scheduled to kick off on March 3, 2025, and running until March 17, 2025, this event promises to deliver a fresh batch of promo cards that collectors want to snag. If you’ve ever dreamed of adding a stunning Gible card to your collection, now’s your chance!

What Cards Can You Get?

This drop event features an array of promo cards that will surely excite players. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

The Gible card showcases a full-art design based on the existing Gible card from the Triumphant Light set. Other notable mentions include alternate art reprints of Raichu and Cherrim, alongside new cards featuring Nosepass and Staraptor. Each card comes stamped as a promo, making them even more collectible.

How to Obtain Promo Cards

Players can engage in solo battles against four different Grass decks with increasing difficulty levels to snag these coveted cards. Winning these battles offers players a chance at obtaining a special ‘Promo Pack A Series Vol. 5’.

  • A victory grants you between a 51% and 100% chance of receiving this pack.
  • The pack can be claimed via the ‘Gifts’ menu on the home screen.

The odds for each promo are as follows:

  • Gible: 12.66%
  • Raichu: 15.82%
  • Cherrim: 23.84%
  • Nosepass: 23.84%
  • Staraptor: 23.84%

A Variety of Rewards Await!

The battles won’t just yield cards; plenty of rewards are tied to each difficulty level! Players can earn XP, Hourglasses, Shinedust, and more.

  • Hourglasses: These reduce timers on pack openings.
  • Shinedust: This cosmetic item lets you add flair to your Pokémon.
  • You can trade duplicate cards along with Shinedust for Sparkles: Gold Flair, which further enhances your collection.

Beginner: Gabite Deck (Triumphant Light)

First-Time Rewards

  • 2x Pack Hourglass
  • 50x Shinedust
  • 1x Shop ticket
  • 25 XP

Chance Rewards

  • 1x Promo Pack A Series Vol. 5 (51% chance)
  • 25x Shinedust (100%)
  • 1x Shop ticket (38.7%)

Battle Tasks

  • K.O. your opponent’s Active Pokémon once with a Grass-type attack (3x Event Hourglass)
  • Add three Basic Pokémon into play (3x Event Hourglass)

Intermediate: Gabite & Rhyperior Deck (Triumphant Light)

Your First-Time Rewards Include:

  • A hefty reward of 4x Pack Hourglass.
  • A generous amount of Shinedust—100 units!

Your Chance Rewards Include:

  • A higher chance at that Promo Pack—64%!

Your Advanced Challenge: Garchomp EX & Gliscor Deck (Triumphant Light)

If you’re feeling bold, take on this deck for bigger rewards like up to six hourglasses and plenty of Shinedust!

The Expert Level: Garchomp EX & Lucario Deck (Triumphant Light)

This level promises the most significant rewards including eight hourglasses and an impressive amount of Shinedust, 200 units! Plus, you’re guaranteed that Promo Pack!
