Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is preparing to show more of its next expansion. The Ruler of the Skies trailer will premiere on July 23 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, according to an announcement from the game’s team on July 22.
The teaser came with a short message from the official Pokémon TCG Pocket account: “The descent draws near 👁️🐉” alongside a cryptic image. The post gives fans their first scheduled look at the expansion’s next major reveal.

Ruler of the Skies Arrives July 30
Ruler of the Skies was revealed in June and will focus on Mega Rayquaza. The expansion will arrive in Pokémon TCG Pocket on July 30, although the July 23 trailer may show more of its cards and other planned content.
The mobile release is separate from the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion Delta Reign. That set is scheduled to launch on November 6 in English-speaking countries, with its Japanese release planned for the previous day.
Pokémon TCG Pocket Passes 200 Million Downloads
The trailer announcement comes after Pokémon TCG Pocket surpassed 200 million downloads worldwide in May. The milestone adds plenty of attention to the next expansion, especially with Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations approaching.
