Fallout 76 Will Bring World Pets, Hideouts, and Raven Rock by Summer 2027
C.A.M.P. pets will gain levels as they adventure, while spring's Hideouts are designed to bridge early endgame play and Raids.

Fallout 76’s next stretch runs from C.A.M.P. pets that can travel and fight alongside players to tougher bounty-hunting Hideouts, with the Raven Rock expansion closing the roadmap in summer 2027. Bethesda Game Studios laid out the schedule in its September letter from Creative Director Jon Rush and Production Director Bill LaCoste.

Fall’s roadmap entry is The Slasher, previously announced to begin on September 15. The next new feature arrives in December 2026, when World Pets will let C.A.M.P. pets accompany players on their adventures and grow more capable as they level up.
Existing pet interactions will carry over, with new options that include Stay, Follow, Protect, and Kill. Bethesda also ties the upgraded companions to bounty hunting in Skyline Valley, where rising crime forced the Blue Ridge Caravan Company to close its operations.
Hideouts will add tougher bounty hunts in spring
Coming in spring 2027, Hideouts will send bounty hunters after dangerous encampments across Appalachia. Teams will need to try different routes and tactics to take down each hideout’s leader. Bethesda describes the activity as a bridge between early endgame content and Raids.
A new “Marked” difficulty will offer a tougher test and better rewards. Hunters will also face The Drifter, a rival who intends to eliminate the competition and take the bounty for himself. Players who defeat him can earn exceptional rewards and renown.
Raven Rock will push the map toward the Capital Wasteland
Bethesda had already named the upcoming expansion Raven Rock. The new letter adds that the map will expand southeast toward the Capital Wasteland, where two derelict Enclave operators are caught in a cold war. Its story takes place almost 200 years before Fallout 3, with the region still bearing the scars of devastation from 27 years earlier.
Between major releases, Bethesda is working on improvements to seasonal events, rendering, weather, the new-player experience, and fishing. Seasonal fish will continue to appear in rivers and streams, and the directors teased rumors of a gold Axolotl.
