Euro Truck Simulator 2’s 1.61 Update Is Refreshing a Popular Trailer Pack
The free update will rebuild the Schwarzmüller low loader and refresh its accessories while keeping the existing cargo options intact.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is getting a free refresh for the Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack with the upcoming 1.61 update. SCS Software shared the plan in its Steam announcement, confirming that the work will begin with one of the pack’s low loader trailers and its accessories.
The Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack launched in 2016, and this update will bring its equipment closer to the manufacturer’s current real-world designs. The low loader is being rebuilt around Schwarzmüller’s latest model, giving the trailer a newer look while preserving its existing cargo options.
The accessories attached to the low loader will receive updated designs as well. SCS Software said the changes are meant to better reflect the equipment and styling found across Schwarzmüller’s current lineup, rather than alter what players can haul with the trailer.
This is only the beginning of a larger refresh for the DLC. The developer plans to rework the entire Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack over time, but the announcement only confirms the redesigned low loader and its accessories for the first stage. The update will arrive free for all Euro Truck Simulator 2 owners in the future.
