FromSoftware just dropped a bombshell during The Game Awards 2024. They’ve revealed Elden Ring Nightreign, a co-op action-adventure spin-off that promises to take us back into the hauntingly beautiful world of Elden Ring. Set for release in 2025, this gem will grace Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. Unlike its predecessor, Elden Ring Nightreign is a standalone adventure that lets you team up with two friends as you tackle challenges on a smaller map inspired by Limgrave, yes, the same eerie locale where many of us first tasted defeat at the hands of those pesky Tree Sentinels. And get this: every enemy encounter is randomized at the start of your playthrough! Talk about keeping things fresh.
