Dynamax Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf will make their Pokémon GO debut during a Max Battle Day on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, and shiny versions of all three Pokémon will be available from the battles.
The Lake trio had already been named for Twilight Trails, but the season’s August 24 overview did not give an event date. The new schedule also splits the trio’s appearances by region, so Trainers will encounter different Pokémon depending on where they play.
The Lake trio will appear across different regions
Dynamax Uxie will appear in the Asia-Pacific region. Mesprit will appear in Europe, India, the Middle East, and Africa, while Azelf will appear in the Americas and Greenland.
Uxie’s listed encounter range is 1,370 to 1,442 CP, with 1,442 CP as its perfect IV value. Mesprit ranges from 1,669 to 1,747 CP, and 1,747 CP is its perfect IV benchmark. Azelf is listed from 1,752 to 1,834 CP, but its stated 100% IV value is 1,835 CP, one point above that range.
Power Spots and Max Particle bonuses
All Power Spots will host Dynamax battles during the event. They will refresh more often, and additional Power Spots will be active, giving Trainers more places to battle. The Max Particle collection limit will rise to 1,600, and Power Spots will provide 8× Max Particles. Trainers can also make up to three Special Trades that day.
Two more Max Particle bonuses will run from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on October 24. Exploring will provide 2× Max Particles, and the distance needed to receive them will drop to one-quarter of the usual amount. Trainers must first collect all Max Particles available through the Nearby menu for these bonuses to apply. Adventure Sync can help track the reduced distance.
A separate Remote Raid bonus will raise the daily limit from 10 to 20 from October 23 at 5:00 p.m. to October 24 at 8:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7).
Paid research offers extra Max Battle rewards
An event ticket will cost US$4.99, or the equivalent price in local currency. It unlocks Timed Research available from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on October 24, with rewards of 1 Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, and 6,400 Max Particles. Ticket holders will also earn 2× XP from Max Battles. The ticket will remain available in the in-game shop until 5:00 p.m. local time on October 24.
The Ultra Ticket Box will also cost US$4.99 and include the event ticket plus 800 Max Particles.
