Pokémon GO’s Twilight Trails Season is scheduled to begin on September 8 at 10:00 a.m. local time and run until December 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The season will focus on Pokémon from the Paldea region, new Mega-Evolved Pokémon, more Dynamax encounters, and a limited-time GO Pass.
Trainers can track the remaining raids, Max Battles, and GO Pass activities in the August 24–30 schedule before Twilight Trails begins.
Paldea Pokémon will make their Pokémon GO debut
The Paldea region, which was introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet for Nintendo Switch, will receive more attention during Twilight Trails. Maschiff and Mabosstiff are confirmed to debut during the season, with more Paldean Pokémon also planned.
More Mega Pokémon are coming to Mega Raid Days
Twilight Trails will add more Mega-Evolved Pokémon through Mega Raid Days. The named additions are Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure, while further details about the remaining debuts have not been shared.
The season will also include a Mega Squads event and the September Community Day Classic. Pokémon GO has not yet provided the full schedule or event details for those activities.
New Dynamax Pokémon will appear in Max Battles
Several Pokémon will gain Dynamax encounters at Power Spots throughout the season. The first group includes Dynamax Rhyhorn, Dynamax Sneasel, and Dynamax Sizzlipede.
A separate Max Battle Day will feature Dynamax Uxie, Dynamax Mesprit, and Dynamax Azelf. The date for that event has not been announced.
Twilight Trails GO Pass rewards
The limited-time GO Pass will let Trainers complete Pass Tasks, earn GO Points, and raise their rank for milestone rewards. A paid GO Pass Deluxe will offer upgraded rewards and faster progression.
The major rewards arrive at ranks 1, 25, 50, and 75:
- Rank 1: One extra Candy for trading Pokémon. Trainers at level 31 or higher will also receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading.
- Rank 25: Higher limits for opening, receiving from PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs, and storing Gifts.
- Rank 50: Double the duration of Daily Adventure Incense.
- Rank 75: More Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs.
Community Day dates during Twilight Trails
Three Community Day events are scheduled during the season. The September event will be a Community Day Classic, followed by regular Community Day events in October and November.

The Egg pools will feature several returning Pokémon during Twilight Trails. These are highlighted encounters rather than complete lists, so other Pokémon can also hatch from each Egg group.

Adventure Sync and Routes rewards
Adventure Sync Eggs will feature different highlighted encounters. The 5 km pool includes Tyrogue, Budew, and Sableye, while 10 km Adventure Sync Eggs can hatch Bagon, Drampa, and Druddigon.
Trainers receiving 7 km Eggs through Mateo’s Gift Exchange at the end of Routes can find Hisuian Sneasel, Galarian Slowpoke, and Galarian Corsola.
Field Research will remain more consistent
Completing Field Research during Twilight Trails will lead to Research Breakthrough encounters with a variety of season-themed Pokémon. Most seasonal Field Research tasks will remain available for the entire season instead of changing each month.
Spinda encounter tasks will continue to rotate monthly, and Field Research tied to individual in-game events will replace some of the regular seasonal tasks while those events are active.
