A two-Trainer team has cleared Gigantamax Cinderace in Pokémon GO without Eternatus, offering a duo benchmark ahead of the Oct. 3 Max Battle Day. The run used 2 Max Mushrooms, a Power Spot boosted with 3 gloves, partly cloudy weather, and coordinated tanking and healing.

Cinderace had Blast Burn as its targeted attack and Flame Thrower as its large attack. The battle video shows the clear, but one run does not establish a universal minimum or guarantee another pair will get the same result. It does show that Eternatus was not required for this attempt, with boosts and role coordination part of the setup.
