When you think the rumors have solidified into reality, PlayStation throws in a little extra spice. Not only are Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Aliens Fireteam Elite on the list for November’s PlayStation Plus games, as billbil-kun predicted, but there’s also a third game in the mix, Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
Just a quick reminder: PlayStation Plus is Sony’s subscription service that offers a few free games each month for its members. We’ve seen a steady stream of exciting titles in the past, in October, it was The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 2022, and Weird West. But what makes November unique?
Mafia II: Definitive Edition
Dive into the life of Vito Scaletta as he navigates the world of organized crime in a post-World War II setting. This is an HD remaster, so expect some eye-catching visuals.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers
In a surprise addition, this asymmetrical action game sets a team of seven against iconic Dragon Ball villains like Cell and Frieza. Whether you’re on the side of the hunted or the hunter, you’ll have plenty of customization options.
Aliens Fireteam Elite
This co-op survival shooter takes you to planet LV-895 to face hordes of Xenomorphs. With six unique classes and various game modes, it promises a lot of action.
Along with the free games, PlayStation Plus members get a nice little bonus this month. Sony Pictures Core, a newly launched service on PS5 and PS4, offers a library of movies for purchase or rent. And guess what? PlayStation Plus members get a 15% discount on all content during November.
Last call for October’s titles! If you haven’t already, add The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 2022, and Weird West to your library. You’ve got until November 6, so better hurry.
As a bonus, there’s a new interactive streaming series called Silent Hill: Ascension. If you’re a PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe member, you can catch weekly compilation episodes a whole day before everyone else. The first episode will be out on November 8.
