The new hotfix for Diablo 4, version 1.1.4, is currently in the process of being rolled out to all players. This update brings a modification to the Hatred’s Chosen buff in the Fields of Hatred and addresses a bug related to Grim favors.
Before this hotfix, the Hatred’s Chosen buff in the Fields of Hatred enabled players to collect Seeds of Hatred by attacking other players and their pets. With the release of this hotfix, the additional Seed generation will now only occur when killing monsters. This change aims to balance gameplay and focus more on PvE (Player vs. Environment) aspects.

Game Update
- The Hatred’s Chosen buff in the Fields of Hatred will no longer grant Seeds of Hatred from attacking players and pets. The additional Seed generation will now only trigger off of killing monsters.
Bug Fix
- Fixed an issue where Grim favors could sometimes not be received after killing a world boss.
