On November 30, Warzone 2.0 received a brand new update dealing with some known issues that have been frustrating players left and right. The update size is around 550 MB on Battle.Net and ~300MB on Steam. Recently, Warzone has been crashing quite a lot. If you’re playing squads, you probably know this.
This update is here to swerve all the difficulties and fix the annoying crashing issues. As per the patch notes, surprisingly shared by Beenox, a subsidiary of Activision, this is what’s been addressed:
Warzone 2.0 November 30 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue causing multiple crashes on PC
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the game dropping FPS for a moment when mousing over a locked Operator.
We've just released an update:

Had a few crashes here and there before today’s patch, now I can’t even complete a game before it CTD. 6 DMZ this afternoon, randomly crashed in 5 of them from 5min in to during the last seconds of extractions.
Great patch.
On the contrary, we have no crashing issues after the update, but the game doesn’t feel as smooth as before.
