On Tuesday, the developer Epic Games has forced a new update release for Fortnite. The update tends to meld some PCs with faulty GPU drivers and prevent them from crashing on launch. However, the company needs more information from all of the other players experiencing such anomalies.
Shortly after the release of Season four, and two days after the official announcement declaring the crash issue in Fortnite, Epic Games decided to put a stop to it. It appears that some GPUs have had trouble running Fortnite, for which the developer had to push a fix as soon as possible.
Below you can find the official tweet by Epic Games.
We've recently released a PC patch to help address the issue where players with certain GPU drivers crashing on launch, and to help us gather info about remaining crashes.
We're continuing to investigate this, and will provide more details on further fixes as they're available. pic.twitter.com/r1yWroemY3
