Two maps got stealthily removed from Modern Warfare

Infinity Ward has stealthily removed two maps from Modern Warfare. These maps were added as an option to the private matches during the last week and have been removed completely for an unknown reason. The two removed maps can be found below:

  • Al-Raab Airbase – Set in a middle-eastern airbase, with all the assets from the Modern Warfare campaign and optimized for a 6v6 gameplay.
  • Drainage – More of a gunfight map, allowing players to involve themselves in 2v2 practices.

This was also confirmed by Call of Duty News on Twitter. Apparently, the addition of these two maps could be due to an accident, as not a single teaser surfaced noticing their arrival. Killhouse remains still available.
