It appears that Riot Games is indeed working on an MMORPG. Throughout the last year, Riot Games’ VP of IP and entertainment, Greg Street, has discovered that Riot Games is working on an MMORPG. It seems that they’re about to expand their catalog with other genres and become one of the developers to have all genres in action. The MMORPG confirmation comes today after Riot Games started recruiting developers to work on the upcoming MMORPG.

Previously, it was somewhat known that Riot Games’ next big project falls into the MMO world. Without concrete indications, we could’ve only assumed about the potential outcome. The hints for such gaming IP also arrived when Tryndamere, Co-founder and Co-chairman at Riot Games, asked if they should build an MMORPG. It all went explosive since there, and gamers haven’t stopped asking if there would be an MMO.
Should we build a MMO? Yay or nay? https://t.co/doZs8zkLNX

This means the MMO might be in the works for a longer time than what we’re aware of, even though the final confirmation for such MMORPG comes out today. So far, everyone is excited about an MMORPG from Riot Games, set in the League of Legends Universe. They have the story, world, and everything else it takes to make one. Now that Riot Games started hiring for such a project, it’s just the time in question until we see the first gameplay material of such MMORPG.
