The Last of Us Part II by Naughty Dog was one of this year’s most anticipated games, serving as the sequel to the highly successful and much-loved first game. However, it’s still a pretty controversial game, with many fans of the first game generally disliking this one for various reasons related to the story. In contrast, most critics gave it a very high rating.
The Last of Us Part II now has 254 GOTY awards, the same amount as the original Last of Us 💯

Today, it sits at 254 awards than CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at 260! It could mean that The Last of Us 2 will overtake The Witcher 3, which probably won’t be so well received by fans.
The Witcher 3 is one of the most well-loved games in history and undoubtedly one of the best RPGs of the 21st Century. Even though it was released in 2015, the game still has a pretty large community finding Easter eggs and other secrets hidden in its vast world.
The Last of Us 2 has an amazing and heart-wrenching story, but it’s not so well-liked by many people. One of the main reasons is Abby, who has probably become one of the most hated game characters ever made.
However, these awards are based on subjective opinion, so it doesn’t matter if you liked Ghost of Tsushima or Cyberpunk 2077, or Hades more this year. Regardless of your opinion, we all have to take a moment and congratulate Naughty Dog on their efforts and success in making such a great sequel!
