Escape From Tarkov “Gunsmith – HK MP5” Quest Guide

Gunsmith – HK MP5 combines the X-5 50-round drum with a suppressor and tactical device. The MP5SD conversion is one way to put the build together, but the finished weapon still has to meet the range, weight and handling checks.

Requirements

• Mechanic loyalty level 1.

Objectives

• Modify an MP5 to comply with the given specifications

Weapon specifications

• 60 Durability
• 45 or greater ergonomics
• 240 or less recoil
• 200 or greater sighting range
• 4 kg or less in weight
• Any tactical device (such as the NcSTAR Tactical Blue Laser)
• A silencer
• HK MP5 9×19 X Products X-5 50-round drum magazine

How to complete the build

Start with an MP5 from Peacekeeper LL1 and fit the parts for your chosen suppressed configuration.

If you replace the receiver, transfer the rear sight from the original receiver. Check the completed weapon with the 50-round drum installed.

Check the complete weapon in the inspection window before handing it over. The quest checkmark can be inconsistent even when a build qualifies, so a missing marker alone does not prove the weapon cannot be submitted.
