Dune: Awakening Hotfix 1.5.15.4 Targets Transfer Errors and Missing Cosmetic

Players who previously completed Contaiment: Patient Zero will receive the missing Contagion Cowl retroactively.

Dune: Awakening hotfix 1.5.15.4 addresses Error 972 during character transfers, which could leave characters missing or appearing at level 0 in the main menu. It also fixes a missing cosmetic reward and a Scourge event contract that could be accepted repeatedly.

Funcom’s hotfix notice says the update requires a client-side download and that servers will be coming back up shortly. If the download does not appear automatically, restart the Steam client.

The Contagion Cowl was missing from the rewards for the Contaiment: Patient Zero contract. Players who already completed it will receive the cosmetic retroactively.

For the Scourge event contract What the Doctor Ordered, Funcom has removed Blood Marks earned through repeated completions, along with Vials purchased using those marks. The hotfix also fixes the issue that allowed players to reaccept the contract repeatedly.

In October, the 1.5.15.2 hotfix targeted a separate travel-queue issue tied to differences between a player’s platform clock and server time. Players can check the game’s Steam discussion boards for known issues.

Fixed an issue that could cause players to encounter Error 972 during character transfers, resulting in characters disappearing or appearing as level 0 in the main menu.
Fixed an issue where the Contagion Cowl cosmetic item was missing as a reward for the “Contaiment: Patient Zero” contract.
- All players who already completed the contract will receive the item retroactively.
Fixed an issue where the Scourge event contract “What the Doctor Ordered” could be repeatedly reaccepted. Blood Marks obtained through repeated completion of the contract, as well as Vials purchased using those Blood Marks, have been removed from players’ inventories.
