War Thunder’s Halloween Races Offer a Po-2 to 1,000 Top Pilots
The event also rewards race points with a profile frame, decals, and returning Halloween trophies through November 1.

War Thunder’s Halloween races are underway through November 1 at 11:00 GMT, with the top 1,000 pilots in the air event earning a Po-2 (USSR). The event began October 27 at 11:00 GMT, according to Gaijin’s Steam announcement.
Ground and air races have separate reward tracks
The ground race, “Through the dark forest,” puts racers in the M18 “Witch” tank. Earn 750 rating points for the “Sinister Lands” profile frame, which will be granted after the event ends. At 500 points, players receive a decoration from the Witch’s Cauldron trophy.

In the air event, “Witch Hunt,” pilots race the Po-2 “Night Witch.” Reaching 750 rating points earns the “Green Ghosts” Squadron Emblem decal, while 300 points awards a decal from the Dead Man’s Chest. The 1,000 pilots with the highest air-event ratings at the finish will receive the Po-2, added to their accounts within 48 hours after the event ends.

Ratings are available from the Award button in the Events window, though the standings can take up to 15 minutes to update. A separate “Boo” decal task asks players to earn 3,000 mission points in any Rank III or higher vehicle with at least 70% activity.

Both the Dead Man’s Chest and Witch’s Cauldron trophies are back in the in-game shop, bringing back decals and decorations from earlier Halloween events. If you already own every decal in the chest or every decoration in the cauldron, its replacement trophy awards one of several items: a research point or Silver Lion booster of 20% to 50% for 3 to 10 battles, 3 to 5 universal backups, or 1 day of Premium Account time.
