Tobi Lou Says League of Legends’ Heartsteel Wanted to Make an EP
He also described an early "Live My Life" recording and said management turnover led to completed work being discarded.

Heartsteel’s early plans stretched beyond a single track. Tobi Lou says the League of Legends music group wanted to make an EP or album, but Riot did not approve the idea.
Tobi also described an early recording of “Live My Life” as markedly different from the final version, with a different beat and a stronger focus on paranoia. He suggested the success of Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” may have influenced the change between the early recording and the finished track.
He connected the project’s reset to management turnover. Several management figures were fired or replaced, he said, and the incoming decision-makers discarded work that had already been completed.
