Starship Troopers: Extermination Update 13 Will Add Hoppers and Camp Rasczak on Oct. 22
The update also doubles climb and vault speed and adds a shooting range where players can test weapons they have not unlocked.

Starship Troopers: Extermination Update 13, titled “Hoppers Take Flight,” is scheduled to become available at 10 AM PT (GMT-7) on October 22, 2026. The Steam announcement introduces flying Hoppers, Camp Rasczak, a major movement boost, and an extensive weapon and interface pass.
Hoppers will appear in Advance & Secure, Horde, and ARC missions, and may also turn up with specific Mission Mutators. These fast Arachnids can carry off a fully equipped Trooper, making the new threat one to watch for while fighting on the ground.
Camp Rasczak combines a Horde Defence training mission with a shooting range. Players can practice base-building and defense against waves of bugs, then try weapons they have not yet unlocked. The range also lets Troopers fire from a distance or enter a pit to fight bugs up close.

Combat movement gets a clear boost, with climb and vault speed doubled. The TW-2 Sp.L.I.T Shotgun receives a 10-Gauge Bore modification, while its automatic counterpart gains Frag Shells. The patch also adds the Warrior Swarm mutator, gives players more time to join late Horde waves, and revises several mission and interface screens.
