Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 Is Scheduled for Oct. 22

On Oct. 20, CD Projekt RED announced that Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 will arrive on Oct. 22, 2026. The teaser pairs the patch with Edgerunners II branding. A REDstream on Oct. 21 will preview features coming to the game, including cyberware customization and a new dual-wielding playstyle.

The announcement follows CD Projekt RED’s earlier statement that it did not plan to release an update in December 2025, ahead of Cyberpunk 2077’s fifth anniversary.

The REDstream is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. CEST on Oct. 21, which is 4 p.m. BST and 6 p.m. EEST. North American start times are 8 a.m. PDT, 9 a.m. MDT, 10 a.m. CDT, and 11 a.m. EDT. In Asia and Oceania, the broadcast begins at 11 p.m. AWST, midnight JST on Oct. 22, and 2 a.m. AEDT on Oct. 22. Watch the YouTube livestream or tune in on Twitch.

CD Projekt RED has also published an official trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, the series referenced by Update 2.5’s branding.
